I apologize if we did not get the word out to everyone quick enough on Wednesday. We found at just before 12 noon, that the meet at Mukwonago was postponed.
It was a frustrating week for all us... Changing or canceling meets is not easy for any coach/athletic director/ or conference commissioner. I have been coaching track for 18 years and never such a 'bad' weather stretch in April. A day here and there is understandable in April, but such a long stretch is tough.
The girl's are off until Tuesday at 10:00 am. It will be a good chance for everyone to 'reset' and rest up for an intense stretch in May. I hope everyone enjoys some time with their family.
As a result of this week, we are changing our schedule, the first week in May.
Tuesday May 3rd - Conference Relays @ Mukwonago
NO MEET @ SOUTH on Wed. May 4th
May 6th - Varsity Meet @ Burlington
May 7th - JV Meet @ South Milwaukee
